The Custom Design Process:
Step 1: Request
Simply send an email to email@example.com with your intended design. This can be a digital file (DXF, STL), a picture, a drawing, a combination of our products, or just an idea; anything goes!
Step 2: Refine
We will work with you to make your idea a reality, free of charge. With your feedback, we'll convert whatever you sent into a design that can be made, assembled, and shipped. Once the details are ironed out, we'll give you an idea of how much your vision will cost.
Step 3: Receive!
If you agree to move forward with the refined vision, then the last step is as simple as making it as described and delivering it to you like any of our other products. Don't forget to let us know what you think!

Using this as a guideline, our hope is that you'll know exactly how simple (or how complex!) a design you can get away with up front. We're always eager to take on exciting, challenging collaborations, and will use this exact chart to make sure you get a fair price; if you tell us your budget in advance, we'll even do what we can to accommodate you.
*Design Fee: this fee is determined based on how complicated the design ends up being (compared to what was initially provided), and how often the design is modified to make it perfect. The more time it takes for us to make a design that's sound, manufacturable, and fits your vision, the higher this fee will be.
